Eating – Madera Restaurant – Michelin Star Restaurant 2018

In a not so past life, I used to be a food blogger, sometimes freelancing for a local news magazine in the Silicon Valley called Metro News. Once in a while, I still contribute a piece to the magazine. My latest feature was about the Michelin starred Madera Restaurant at the Rosewood Sandhill Hotel in Menlo Park. ($20) Sweet corn stuffed agnolotti with wild mushrooms and shaved burgundy truffle

Val de Mer Rose ($20/glass), San Fabiano Calcinaia ($15/glass), and Marco Felluga Pinot Grigio ($14)

Slightly tart and creamy Fromage Blanc was accompanied in each bite by slices of fantasy grapes and golden beets ($15)

Tory Farms Peach Melba ($12), a classic dessert of peaches, ice cream, and berry sauce. Madera’s version
uses vanilla brulee, raspberry coulis, peach sorbet.
