Earlier this year, Costco opened a new location in San Jose near Great Oaks Blvd. Our family are already avid Costco shoppers and we typically choose Kirkland brands whenever we find that the products are comparable to name brands. Costco shipped the following samples of their Kirkland products for us to try. It’s taken me a while to get to this post because the pregnancy and writing posts about it had taken up so much of my focus. Also, Costco generously gave so many products that I’ve finally used up a fair enough amount to discuss.
First, let’s discuss that uge bag of quinoa. We’ve been getting really in to quinoa the last few years and this bag of Organic Kirkland Quinoa will probably last another 6 months. I cook it with chicken broth and put it into my salads to help me feel more full.
The Kirkland Milk Chocolate Almonds are a favorite at my parents house. Their grandkids love this and the chocolate covered raisins.
We use the disinfecting wipes to clean up sometimes and I use the beauty wipes to remove light makeup.
The nut bars, apple sauce, honey, and coconut water were my favorites from this shipment. I finished them quickly.
I highly suggest looking into some of the Kirkland brand items to replace your brand name staples because most of them are just as good. If you live near the south San Jose area, check out the latest Costco there.
